Mai Nurse

Mai Nurse is the founding game of my universe — a puzzle game inspired by Dr. Mario, available free on itch.io across 8 retro platforms. Full solo production: code, pixel art, and music by me.

Mai makes her first public appearance here as the connecting thread of the entire Lunoka universe, with her characteristic double reading: a Japanese first name and the possessive "my" in English — my nurse.

Mai Nurse served as the technical foundation for my workflow — multi-platform development, pixel art pipelines, chiptune composition. The lessons learned here directly inform all subsequent Mai projects.

PCB for Game Gear validated. PCB for Game Boy currently under revision for the physical edition Kickstarter planned for late 2026.
